The catwalk was painted lawn green and elevated over a river of mint candies. Marc Jacobs at a spring show that was strangely beautiful , if a little esoteric. The spring collection inspirations, instead of "light, kindness, peace, and generosity." The light part made a sort of sense. Jacobs' palette consisted of white, cream, black for contrast, and ombréd grays, with flashes of brilliant holographic sequins. But was there substance beneath the whimsy? Many of these clothes—the Arabian Nights harem pants, for example, or the tulip pants that he showed unbuttoned up the side—will be a hard sell. On the other hand, the trio of understated-by-comparison T-shirt dresses and the bags—metallic leathers and exotic skins studded with crystals as big as the bulbs on an old Times Square marquee—should keep the faithful happy.

Achromatic Color Scheme giving a sense of peace, generosity. Also, the pattern project a little bit Japanese feeling. Japanese always use the second color, as they don't want to be standed out. Therefore, this outfit truly match with the theme.

Sequined skyblue dress, used monochromatic color scheme, it is casual but glamourous. As the silvery sequined add some glamour to the outfit.

In this collection, Marc Jacobs has a little bit complain about the modern women. Although we're in a new and modern age where girls can swear like a trucker and not cause a head to turn, he wants to bring back 70's sophistication and class to the modern woman. In the collection, black is always used, as black give us a formal, elegance feeling. Even other colors are used in this collection, they gave a elegance feeling from the colors and also the hats.

This outfit used achromatic color scheme, by contrasting the whole outfit, Jacobs added a sharp, yellow handbag to the look, which advancing and receding hues counter each other, light and dark values show powerful opposition, and bright and dull intensities accent unlikeliness.

This outfit used Principle of Novelty which argues that although people like harmonious or balanced color schemes, harmony quickly becomes boring. As a result, a new or unexpected combination will draw attention to people.

It used monochromatic color scheme, and principle of order and harmonize the color by agreement of feeling . Since it is easier when advancing or receding qualities of hues, values and intensities convey similar moods, giving enough variety for interest but avoiding boredom or conflict.
